《现代汉语词典》第5版在释义表述上的修订及存在的问题

摘　　要：《现代汉语词典》第5版在完善释义表述的科学性方面主要采取了以下的修订方式:一、原释义表述的增补。二、原释义表述的删汰。三、原释义表述的增删并举。四、原释义表述语序的调整。五、旧版释义表述的彻底置换。第5版的释义表述也存在以下一些有待进一步完善的地方:一、依然没有把一些词语现在普遍使用的意义表述出来。二、一些词语释义表述中的部分文字依然不够准确、恰切。三、一些新的做法没能贯彻始终。In its 5th edition, The Contemporary Chinese Dictionary has been improved scientifically in explanation expression from the following aspects： supplementing primitive meanings, deleting some improper definition, adopting the methods of adding and deleting meanings of an item simultaneously, readjusting order of explanation, and completely altering explanation pattern. However, there are some defects in explaining words, such as less - efficient expression of commonly - used meanings, less - refined or inappropriate commentaries of certain words, as well as the new - explaining thoughts that does not stick to the end.
