摘　　要：恩格尔系数在我国运用中不能准确反映人们的生活水平。为充分发挥恩格尔系数的作用,需要从恩格尔系数自身完善、分析食品支出内部结构比例关系、恩格尔系数引申发展、其他指标与方法补充四个方面入手。：Engel＇s coefficient can not reflect people＇s standard of living truly in china. In order to exerting Engel＇s coeffieient＇s effect, we need to perfect Engel＇s coefficient itself, analysis inside structure proportion of food payout, develop Engel＇s coefficient extended meaning, and supply other indexes and methods.
