摘 要:用Al2O3改性TiO2粒子,并用XPS、XRD、FT-IR表征了粒子的表面组成和结构。采用静态沉降法和粒度分布探讨了粒子在四氯己烯中的分散稳定性,并利用自行设计的电泳仪对粒子的电场响应特性进行测试。考察了温度、pH值、转速等改性条件对粒子分散性和带电性的影响。实验结果表明。最佳改性条件是温度在85~90℃、pH值为8-9,搅拌速度在800r·min^-1。改性后的粒子分散性和带电性有明显的提高,粒子对电场有可逆响应。The preparation of stable electrophoretic ink (E ink) needs the color particles used disperse uniformly in the organic media, hence the modification of the inorganic particle surfaces of the used color particles is necessary. In this paper, the modification of titanium dioxide particles by alumina was studied. The surface composites and structures of the modified particles were characterized by XPS, XRD and FT-IR. The dispersibility and electrophoretic mobility of the modified TiO2 particles in tetrachlorethylene were investigated by laser particle size analyzer, settlement experiments and electrophoretic instrument. The effects of modification conditions, such as the temperature, pH value and stirring rate, on the dispersibility and the charge property of the modified TiO2 were discussed. The results indicate that the settle time of modified TiO2 can last 120h with the response time of 35s if the modification is conducted under the optimized conditions, such as temperature is 85-90℃, pH is 8-9 and stirring rate is 800 r·min^-1. Since the dispersibility and electrophoretic mobility of the modified TiO2 particles have significantly improved, it means that these modified particles are suitable to be used as the color particles for electronic display.
