摘　　要：光纤通信的问世使高速率、大容量的通信成为可能,目前它已成为最主要的信息传输技术。简要介绍了光纤通信的特性和应用概况;总结了光纤通信的主要技术——光波分复用技术、光弧子通信技术、光纤接入技术的基本原理、优势、发展状况和技术水平;指出了未来的光纤通信将会朝着光纤到户、全光网络的方向发展,为用户提供更多更好的信息服务。The publication of optical fiber communication makes high speed rate,big capacity communication be possible,which has been the main informational transmmision technolog at the present moment.The features and application status quo of optical fiber communication are introduced and the principle ,advantages,developing actualicties and technological level of the main technology,WDM,OAC and PON technology are summarized and points out the developing trend of optical fiber communication,FTTH,CON,which will provide better and more informational service.
