摘　　要：基于IEEE 802.16标准的W iMAX技术是一种宽带无线接入技术。文章介绍了W iMAX技术的基本概念、发展现状和技术特点,叙述了配电自动化系统对通信的要求以及现有典型配电网通信方式的优缺点,论证了W iMAX技术应用于配电网通信的可行性;给出了2种具体的应用方案,分别采用W iMAX+PLC组网方式以及W iMAX独立组网方式构建配电网通信系统,并对这2种方案进行了分析与比较;指出了实际应用中存在的难点和问题。WiMAX is a broadband wireless access technology based on the IEEE 802.16. This paper introduces the basic concept, current situation and technical specificities of WiMAX, It describes the requirement of distribution automation system for telecommunication and both advantages and disadvantages of existing telecommunication methods used in distribution automation system. The paper also discusses the feasibility of applying WiMAX in distribution network and proposes and analyzes the application plans of both WiMAX and WiMAX ＋ PLC for distribution network telecommunication system, The problems and difficulties in practical application are also pointed out in the paper.
