摘　　要：国家信息基础设施、统称信息高速公路，是当今信息社会的热点问题。本文叙述了提出建设信息基础设施（ＮＩＩ）的背景、条件和可能性。文中重点论述了我国信息基础设施建设已经有一定的基础，我们应当与国际接轨，结合国情，积极而稳步地推进我国国家信息基础设施的建设。为此，对当前应当如何操作，也提出了一些设想。Recently,the National Information Infrastructure (NII) is a hot subject. This paper describes the background, condition and possibility of constructing the NII. On Chinese NII (CNII), especially, our country has had a better foundation. We should actively and steadily push on the construction of CNII. Mesnwhile, some suggestions on constructing the CNII are also made.
