槐树的实用功能与文化象征

摘　　要：槐树在文化史上的重要性有赖于其多种实用价值的开发利用。槐树的可燃功能使之成为“改火”之木,并确立了槐树的“阴树”身份。槐叶可以用作防暑之物,食槐成为古代文人的一种风雅。槐树的药用价值将之提升为仙方灵药,并将槐树引入了神仙境界。作为行道树的槐树则附着了多层政治寓意。宋代以后,在董永遇仙传说中,槐树承载了遇仙、生殖、富贵三层用意。The significance of Sophora japonica depends on the development and utilization of its various practical values in the cultural history. The flammability of Sophora japonica makes itself become the wood rectifiable to the seasonal fire, and establishes its status as the tree of Yin （ 阴树）. The leaves of Sophora japonica can serve as sunstroke prevention, therefore eating Sophora japonica was literary pursuits for the men of letters in ancient times. The medicinal function promotes Sophora japonica to magical prescription and miracle drug, which leads it to immortal fairyland. As the trees that line a street, Sophora japonica is much associated with political implication. Since Song Dynasty, Sophora japonica has been embodied with three meanings ： encountering immortals, reproduction, fortune in the legend of DONG Yong encountering immortals.
