摘 要:边缘场效应在微显示中的影响是比较显著的,它会使图像质量下降。为了进一步研究这一现象,建立了液晶模型。通过对液晶模型的数值计算,模拟出几种常用显示模式下的边缘场效应,分析了不同模式下边缘场效应产生机理及其影响因素。通过采用混合排列模式,使得像素电极液晶分子变化平缓,减小了因为电极较小而引起的边缘电场的影响,提高了显示对比度和均匀性,改善了显示效果。The fringe field effects are distinct in microdisplay and they deteriorate image quality. To investigate this phenomenon thoroughly, a liquid crystal model was constructed. The fringe field effects in several widely-used modes were simulated and the mechanism and the influencing elements of fringe fields were analyzed by means of the simulation of liquid crystal model. The HAN mode was introduced, which result in the liquid crystal molecular in pixel electrode switched smoothly and the fringe field effects were eliminated. The sharpness and the brightness of the displaying images were significantly improved.
