摘 要:为减轻无线信道差错对视频传输质量的影响,针对现有前向纠错技术多采用多参数RS编码方式的局限性,提出一种新的组合式差错控制机制,首先联合信源采用交错式控制建立基于对视频重建影响程度的Q oS映射;然后采用非均等差错防护确立基于typeⅢ-HARQ的CRC-RS组合式差错机制;最后提出自适应帧长及组包算法进行有效的CRC传输,以最大化利用无线带宽资源。通过仿真结果可以看出,系统在失真度和功率损耗的改善上都有很大的优势。Aim. Existing error control schemes, such as Ref. 2, in our opinion, suffer from the shortcoming that, if distortion is kept acceptably low, low power consumption is unattainable. So we present a novel and what we believe to be better error control scheme. In the full paper, we explain in detail how to achieve better trade-off between channel resource utilization and subjective video quality in accordance with video streaming characteristics. In this abstract, we just add some pertinent remarks to listing the two topics of explanation: (1) the principles of combined error control algorithm; (2) performance analysis of the combined error control algorithm in terms of distortion and power consumption; the four subtopics of topic 1 are the mapping of quality of service (QoS) based on unequal error protection (UEP) (subtopic1. 1), description of the combined error control algorithm (subtopic 1.2), determination of the transmission packet model for the error control scheme (subtopic 1.3) and the selection of the optimal size of transmission packets (subtopic 1.4). At the end of the paper we simulate the distortion measured at peak SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and power consumption. The simulation results, given in Figs. 1, 2 and 3 in the full paper, indicate preliminarily that the novel scheme has better performance than other approaches, including UEP scheme that uses multi-level Reed-Solomon (RS) coding.
