食管鳞癌组织中MIFmRNA的表达及其意义

摘  要:目的:探讨巨噬细胞移动抑制因子(MIF)mRNA在食管鳞癌及正常食管组织中的表达及其与临床病理特征的关系。方法:采用逆转录-聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)法检测MIFmRNA在80例手术切除的食管鳞癌组织及正常食管组织中的表达。结果:MIFmRNA表达率在食管鳞癌中为85%(68/80),而在正常食管组织中为15%(15/80),有显著性差异(P<0.01)。MIFmRNA的阳性表达率与肿瘤细胞分化程度及TNM分期有关(P<0.05),而与患者年龄、性别、肿瘤大小以及有无淋巴结转移无关(P>0.05)。结论:MIFmRNA的高水平表达说明其参与了食管鳞癌的发病机制.并将可能为食管鳞癌的早期诊断和治疗提供一种新的手段。Objective:To explore the mRNA expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF)in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and its relationship with the clinical pathologic characteristics of that carcinoma.Methods:The expressions of MIF mRNA in esophageal carcinoma tissues and normal esophageal tissues were detected by RT-PCR in eighty patients.Results:MIF mRNA expression rate in esophageal carcinoma was 85%(68/80),while in the normal esophageal tissues it was 15%(15/80).the difference was significant (P 〈 0.01).The positive expression rate of MIF mRNA was correlated with differentiation degree and TNM stage of carcinoma(P〈0.05),but not with patient age,patient sex,or lymph node metastasis(P〉0.05).Conclusion:Increased MIFmRNA expression contributed to carcinogenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,which might provide a new way for early diagnosis and therapy of esophageal carcinoma.
