摘　　要：生物海洋学是海洋学的分支学科之一.本文综述了生物海洋学的定义、学科发展的历史、生物海洋学基础研究、应用研究和新技术的应用等研究内容,阐述了该学科研究热点问题以及未来发展方向.生物海洋学的未来重大进展将表现在生物多样性在生物地球化学动力学中的重要作用、功能生态学、生物聚集体的结构动力学以及人类影响和生境关系等4个方面.Biological oceanography is the branch of oceanography. In this paper,a summary of biological oceanography is made, which includes all the sides,such as the definition of the subject,the development of the subject,the basic research,the application of the subject,the adoption of new techniques,the hotspot of research problem and the development of subject. The quantum advances in biological oceanography will lay heavy stress on four phases,which embrace the important function of the diversity of species in biogeochemical dynamics,functional ecology, the structure dynamics of biological aggregates, and the relation between human＇ impacts and habitat.
