摘 要:以阳离子表面活性剂、偶联剂及脂肪酸为表面改性剂获得表面性能不同的3种纳米CaCO3改性产品。用透射电镜桨相关化学分析方法表征了改性纳米CaCO3的界面行为。将改性纳米CaCO3加入纸张涂料体系中,制得不同配方的纸张涂料,并对涂料的静态流动性能和动态黏弹性进行了研究。结果表明,与加入普通CaCO3的传统涂料相比,含纳米CaCO3的纸张涂料具有较高的表观黏度、动态弹性模量和黏性模量,相位角则较低。表面亲油疏水的纳米CaCO3能够很好地与胶乳、增稠剂等聚合物胶体结合,弹性模量较大;而表面亲水的纳米CaCO3所制得的纸张涂料动态黏弹性较小。Three kinds of modified nanometer calcium carbonate samples (abbreviated as nano-CaCO3) were prepared by using cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide cationic, coupling agent and fatty acid as modifiers. The interfacial behaviors of the modified nano-CaCO3 was investigated. It was found that the interfacial behaviors of the modified nano-CaCO3 change greatly, powder contact angle and specific surface area increase significantly, while oil-absorbed value and the average particle size decrease sharply. The influences of modified nano-CaCO3 on the static flowing properties and the dynamic viscoelasticity of the paper coatings containing nano-CaCO3 were also investigated. The results showed that apparent viscosity, dynamic elastic modulus and viscoelastic modulus of the nano-CaCO3 paper coatings are higher than those of traditional paper coatings, while the phase angle is lower. In addition, the experimental results proved that surface modification is critical for the application of nano-CaCO3 to the paper coatings. Nano-CaCO3 modified with fatty acid is lipophilic, which makes it easy to attach latex and to form a network structure of good interfacial adhesive strength. On the other hand nano-CaCO3 modified with cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide cationic is hydrophilic, which leads to low dynamic elastic storage modulus and viscoelastic modulus of the nano-CaCO3 paper coatings.
