摘　　要：近年来我国中等教育得到迅速地发展,兴建体育馆是许多中学为改善办学条件而采取的重要选择。在新余四中体育馆设计中,设计师提出了“单位屋盖面积下能提供尽可能多的体育教学场地”作为设计指导思想,从而使体育馆的空间利用率得到较大的提高,从设计的角度充分发挥了体育馆的“经济效益”。The secondary school education of China developes fast in recent years. In order to improve the education conditions, planning to build gymnasium is a very important choice for many middle schools. During the designing of the gymnasium of the Forth Middle School in Xinyu city, the architect puts forward a new idea as design guideline ＂Providing more space for physical teaching as much as possible in elemental roof area＂. By doing so, the space utilization ratio of the gymnasium is highly raised and the ＂economic benefit＂ of the gymnasium is fully exerted in terms of design.
