摘　　要：对市民趣味的迎合是通俗小说能够吸引读者的重要原因之一,《啼笑因缘》包含了由道德趣味、文化趣味以及文本趣味共同构成的符合大众审美倾向的市民趣味,从而能够赢得普通大众读者的认同并在新文学史上取得自己的位置。One of the important reasons of why popular novels can attract the readers is that they agree with the interest of urban residents. Sad and Ridiculous Causes meets the interests of urban residents which includes morals interest, euhure interest and version interest, so it can be acknowledged by the masses and get its seat in the history of modern literature.
