摘　　要：研究了英文搜索引擎的现状与优势,从定性和定量两个方面对四个英文搜索引擎:A ltaV ista、Google、G iga-b last、Exalead的检索性能进行了评价分析,旨在为中文搜索引擎的发展提供借鉴。them from chief point to develop This article selects four most representative English search engines and measures the searching power on both aspects of quantitative and qualitative, in which quantitative measure is significantly analyzed.
