摘　　要：对外国直接投资(FDI)理论进行综述,按照FDI理论的发展所遵循的方法论对其经典文献进行分析,并指出存在的不足,结合中国经济背景,探讨FDI理论在中国实际应用中面临的问题,进而提出中国FD I理论研究的方向。The paper summarized the theories about Foreign Direct Investment （FDI）. According to the methodology followed by the FDI theory＇s development, the article analyzed its classical documents and pointed out the weakness concerned. Combining with Chinese economic background, it dealt with the problems faced in the practice to apply FDI theories to China, and then put forward the research direction of FDI theories in China.
