摘　　要：长期口承于荆楚故地、武陵山区的土家《摆手歌》与苗族《古老话》,缘于同一地域的共同生态及同为“蛮夷”后裔,故而两部史诗有不少相同之处;但作为单列民族各自民族特点的反映,它们又有一些互见差异的地方。The Tujias＇ Waving Songs and the Miaos＇ Ancient Words, which have handed down orally in Jinchu and Wuling area, have the same characteristics because these two epics were created in the same environment and the writers possessed the same originator——＂Manyi＂. But as a reflection of national traits of different nationality, these two epics have many differences.
