摘  要:汽车车身是复杂的空间自由曲面,是汽车设计与制造中的“瓶颈”。本文结合东风汽车公司车身计算机集成制造系统(CIMS)的研究和开发,介绍了车身几何建模方法。The change of vehicle type is mainly determined by that of the vehicle body which consists of complicated spatial free-form surfaces, so the vehicle body has long been known as the 'bottle-neck' which restricts the development of new vehicles。Dealing with resrarch and developing of the computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) of vehicle body at Dongfeng Motor Corporation, the geometric modeling methods of vehicle body are introduced, as well as principles of the reverse engineering from clay model to 3D computer model of vehicle body and feature-based design of vehicle body parts are mainly discussed。
