摘　　要：利用1980-2006年《气象科学》的若干项资料数据进行统计和分析，清晰地看到了《气象科学》的发展历程，尤其是近10a来发生的显著变化。期刊已先后获得了“中国自然科学核心期刊”、“中国科技论文统计源期刊”、“中国气象局核心期刊”、“江苏省一级期刊”、“中国科学引文数据库来源期刊”等，还被中国科协“中国学术期刊文摘”收录。目前，《气象科学》出版正常、发行有序、版式规范、装帧标准，正以一个全新的面貌展示在广大读者面前。Statistics .and analyses on some kinds of data for SMS （Scienta Meteorological Sinica ）from 1980 to 2006 clearly reveal its evolution process and remarkable change, especially in recent ten years. SMS has recently qualified as ＂Key periodical of Chinese Natural sciences＂, ＂Source periodical for statistics of Chinese Science and Technology＂, ＂Key periodical of Chinese Meteorological Bureau＂, ＂First-class Periodical of Jiangsu Province＂, and ＂ Source Periodical for data-base of Chinese Scientific quoted Papers＂. Furthermore ,SMS has been included in the ＂Periodical Abstract of Chinese academic theses＂ Sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology ＂. At present, based on its regular publication, distribution in good condition, normal format and standard binding, a brandy-new picture was laid out before its widespread readers
