摘　　要：律师作为向社会提供法律服务的执业人员，他是当事人权益的维护者，其不当的执业行为如果侵害了当事人的合法权益就应当承担相应的民事责任。本文从定义、主体、特征、功能等方面阐述了律师的民事责任，通过阐述，对律师民事责任的几个基本问题有比较深入的了解。As a law man , lawyer should protect the litigant＇s rights while provide law service. Lawyer should bear civil liability for his misbehavior that harm the litigant＇s legal rights. This paper talk about lawyer＇s liability from the aspects of its definition, subject, characteristics, function, etc. Through this paper, we can get a brief understanding of the lawyer＇s civil liability.
