摘　　要：党的十三届四中全会以来,以江泽民为核心的党的第三代领导集体,面对新的社会历史条件,在继续回答“什么是社会主义”、“怎样建设社会主义”这一基本问题的同时,科学地回答了“建设一个什么样的党,怎样建设党”这一重大历史课题,在实践中不断开拓马克思主义中国化的新境界,把马克思主义中国化作为党中央领导集体和全党的历史任务,形成了“三个代表”重要思想这一马克思主义中国化的最新理论成果,对马克思主义中国化起到了承上启下、继往开来的伟大作用。Since the Fourth Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Party,the leading group of the third generation led by Jiang Zemin, in the face of new social and historical conditions, scientifically resolved the significant historical issue of “what kind of party we are to build,and how to build such a party” ,while continuing their research into the basic issue of “what is,socialism,and how to build socialism. ”They constantly opened up a new vista in practice of the sinicization of Marxism, and made it a historical task for the central leading group and the whole party, which developed into the latest theoretical fruit about the sinicization of Marxism--the important thought of “three represents”, serving as a bridge between the past and the future.
