摘　　要：2006 International Conference on Hydropower was held from Oct. 23rd to 25th in Kunming, China. More than 300 experts and delegates from more than 20 countries attended the conference. The representatives from home and abroad have conducted in-depth communications and discussions on relevant technical issues in the field of damming engineering.
