摘　　要：“恢复美国的河口”(“Restore America's Estuaries”)是一个非营利性的组织,也是美国的一个大型综合性计划。它于1995年设立,目标是在2010年前恢复40．468万hm^2(100万英亩)的河口生境地。介绍了“恢复美国的河口”这一组织的概况和《河口恢复法案》、《恢复海岸及河口生境国家战略》、《河口生境恢复的原则》。受其启迪,结合中国河口的状况,提出了5方面的建议:加强科学研究、制定国家战略、共同做出努力、资金支持、教育与科普,以期为中国生态保护和河口恢复提供参考。＂Restore America＇s Estuaries＂ is a nonprofit organization and a large compesitive program in USA. It was created in 1995, whose goal is to restore 1 million acres of estuary habitat by the year 2010. This paper introduces the situation of ＂Restore America＇s Estuaries＂ and the gist of The Estuary Restoration Act, A National Strategy to Restore Coastal and Estuarine Habitat, and Principles of Estuarine Habitat Restoration. Then, enlightened from them, and combining with China＇s estuaries situation, put forward some suggestion in 5 aspects： enhance science research, need a national strategy or a strategic plan, make efforts together, fund support, education and scientific popularization, so as to provide reference for China＇s ecosystem conservation and restoration in estuaries.
