摘　　要：试验表明：橡胶材质水封在一定背压下可封住间隙１５ｍｍ、水头１２０ｍ的漏水，其封水背压与间隙大小、压板型式、水封型式、水封材质有关。This paper presents the method and results about experiment of expansion and contraction seals used in high head radial gates Results show that rubber seals can stop water leakage through gap less than 15mm under 120m head The rear watertight pressure is dependent on clearance, type of pressure plate, seal type and material, of which the Ⅱ2-005 type rubber seal with ②-typy pressure plate gives minimum water-tight pressure
