外资银行进入对中东欧国家内资银行绩效的短期影响研究——基于10国105家银行的面板数据检验

摘　　要：利用中东欧10国105家内资银行1997-2004年的面板数据，本文检验了外资银行进入对中东欧国家内资银行绩效的短期影响。实证检验结果显示，在短期内，外资银行进入提高了中东欧国家内资银行效率，但也显著降低了这些国家内资银行税前资产利润率和非利息收入占总资产的比重；外资银行进入对内资银行绩效的影响依赖于中东欧国家的经济发展水平和银行业发展程度。研究表明，随着中东欧国家经济发展水平和银行业发展水平的提高，外资银行进入对中东欧国家内资银行税前资产利润率和非利息收入占总资产比重的负面影响将减弱。This paper analyses the short-term impact of foreign banks entry on domestic banks performances in ten Central and Eastern European countries using a panel data of 105 domestic banks over the period 1997-2004. The empirical results indicate that, in short term, domestic banks in Central and Eastern European countries become more efficient because of foreign banks entry. But the foreign banks entry is associated with lower before-tax profits to total assets and non-interest income to total assets. The results also indicate that the effects of foreign banks entry depends on the economic development and banking sector, the more developed economy and banking markets of Central and Eastern European countries, the less negative effect of Foreign bank entry on before-tax profits to total assets and non-interest income to total assets.
