摘　　要：货币总量在一国货币政策制定和宏观经济决策方面起着重要的作用,因此,科学测度货币总量具有重要的理论价值和现实意义。文章在《货币与金融统计手册》(简称MFS)货币总量测度研究的基础上,综合评价了MFS货币总量测度方法,并结合我国国情提出科学测度货币总量的建议。Monetary aggregate plays an important role in the formulation of monetary policy and macro-economic policy for every country. Thus, it is of great theoretical value and realistic significance to scientifically measure monetary aggregate. Based on a study of monetary aggregate measurement of ＂A Handbook of Money and Finance Statistics（MFS）＂, this paper presents an overall appraise of MFS monetary aggregate measurement approach. Proceeding from our actual conditions, it provides some suggestions for scientifically measuring monetary aggregate in China.
