摘　　要：文章从分析核心期刊数量界定的经典实验数据和大型评价系统的实测数据入手，论证了核心期刊数量界定没有客观标准，核心期刊的数量是根据实际需要测定的，不同评价目的需要不同数量的核心期刊，所谓核心期刊数量太多或太少都是相对的，只要能满足用户的实际需要，便是合理的。This article begins with analyzing the classic experiment data about the demarcation of the amount of core journals and the testing dada of macro evaluation systems. Based on the analysis, the article proves that there are not fixed standards for the demarcation of the amount of core journals, the amount should be determined according to actual demands. It is demonstrated that the amount of core journals might be different because of the various purposes of the evaluation. No matter whether the amount is large or small, it is reasonable, if it can meet the needs of users.
