摘　　要：文章阐述了植被护坡理论和技术的发展历史。介绍了两种不同类型的边坡,在此基础上,提出了植物品种的选择应以边坡特殊的立地条件为依据,遵循适地适植物的原则,同时也提出了目前植物选择所存在的几个误区。最后,结合我国植被护坡的发展现状,展望了植被护坡的研究方向。The history of slope vegetation is stated. Through the analysis on the two type side-slope, the principle of selection plant which is on the base of the particular growth environment of side-slope is put forward, at the same time, some mistakes in plant selection are presented. In the end, according to the current situation of research on slope vegetation in China,the prospects of development direction of slope vegetation are described.
