摘　　要：大学自治是大学自身发展必须遵循的内在逻辑,但是历史的经验和现实的情况表明,真正实现健康意义上的大学自治,有效地完成大学追求真理、造福社会的使命,必须处理好依法行政和民主管理两大问题,并以此构建新时期的大学自治新模式。The autonomy is regarded as a logic trend of the development of a university. Hence the writers claim, on basis of both historical and realistic observations, that a substantial university autonomy lies in that a university is effectively committed to the pursuit of truth and benefiting the society with the new model of university autonomy regarding rule by law and democratic administration.
