摘　　要：地理信息系统日益深入各行各业,GIS技术发展至今,掀起了控件化的热潮。ESRI公司的Map Objects控件是其中杰出的代表,他是一组供应用开发人员使用的制图与GIS功能组件,可以嵌入到Visual Basic,Visual C++等程序设计环境。通过在Visual Basic环境下使用MapObjects控件,实现商场库存管理信息的GIS管理。来说明在Visual Basic环境下开发GIS的主要技术。With GIS being widely applied in all kinds of fields,GIS technology has raised components upsurge. The MapObjects components of ESRI is the best representation,it can be used in drawing and attaining to GIS function by developmen,it can embeded many program design environment such as Visual Basic,Visual C＋＋ and so on. It explains the main technology of developing GIS under the environment of Visual Basic through a example that it can realize GIS manages of market stock information by using MapObjects components in Visual Basic language.
