摘　　要：文章从抵御西方文化入侵、保卫和弘扬中华民族文化,捍卫和提高中文在互联网的地位、拓展我国在互联网领域的发展空间,进一步促进我国数字图书馆的建设和发展以及满足全球用户对中文网络资源的需求四个方面阐述了建立全球中文数字图书馆的必要性,最后提出建立全球中文数字图书馆的思路和需注意的问题。This paper expatiates the necessity of establishing Global Chinese Digital Library in four aspects such as resisting the aggression of west culture, safeguarding and developing Chinese culture, safeguarding and improving the status of Chinese and expanding the developing space of China in the intemet, developing the digital libraries in China and satisfying the requirement of Chinese information resources all over the world. At last, the author discusses the problems that should be paid attention to.
