摘　　要：土壤种子库是指存在于土壤上层凋落物和土壤中全部存活种子的总和.土壤种子库时期是植物种群生活史的一个重要阶段,也可称为潜种群阶段.概述了土壤种子库的基本特征、土壤种子库与地上植被的关系,着重对土壤种子库在植被恢复与重建中的作用进行了深入的分析,特别是探讨了影响土壤种子库在植被恢复与重建中作用的各方面因素,包括土壤种子库的自身特性、生境条件和不同干扰因子,以期为区域植被自然恢复与局部植被重建提供科学依据.As an important part of plant ecology, the studying history of soil seed bank has been nearly one and a half centuries. Soil seed hank indicates the total amount of survived seeds in the soil and withering junk. Seed banks have different features in different vegetation types, habits and vegetation succession Stages. The period of soil seed banks is one of the life history stages of plant population,which is called subpopulation stage. The characteristic of seed bank, relation between seed bank and corresponding vegetation,and the potential of seed bank in vegetation regeneration were stimmarize. The factors （include the characteristic of soil seed bank itself, habitat, different disturbing factors） which infect the potential role that a seed bank plays in vegetation regeneration were especially discussed. In the restoration and reclamation of vegetation,the study on the rote of soil seed banks in restoration can provide important information scientific data for regional and local vegetation regeneration.
