摘　　要：T优597是国家杂交水稻工程技术研究中心以T98A为母本,创恢597为父本配组育成的籼型杂交水稻新组合,具有产量较高、米质较优、抗白叶枯病、中感稻瘟病等特点,2005年1月通过湖南省农作物品种审定委员会审定。T You 597 （T98A/Chuanghui 597） is a new indica hybrid rice combination developed by the China National Hybrid Rice Research and Development Center. It shows the characteristics of high yield, good grain quality, resistance to bacterial leaf blight （BLB） and moderate susceptibility to blast. In January, 2005, it was examined and approved for commercial use by the Hunan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee. The breeding procedure, major characteristics, cultivation and seed production techniques were introduced in this paper.
