摘　　要：根据离散地层模型中物理量变化的特点，本文提出用沃尔什（Walsh）函数描述这些物理量的新方法。文中给出了两个定义和四个定理，研究了一维、二维和三维离散地层模型的沃尔什函数描述法，并给出了一维模型的描述实例。理论研究和实例计算结果表明，在地层物理量为分层常数或分块常数的条件下，沃尔什函数描述法能有效地减少描述参数的个数。According to the variational characteristics of physical variates in discrete for-mation model,we achieve physical variate description using Walsh function. The ar-ticle presents two definitions and four theorems,analyses Walsh function descrip-tions of 1-D,2-D and 3-D discrete formation models,and offers a description exam-ple of 1-D formation model. The theoretical and practical computation results show that Walsh function description can effectively reduce the described parameters,then very favour the solution of discrete inverse problems on condition that physical variates of formation are inner-layer constants or inner-block constants.
