摘　　要：政治现代化首先是政治文化的现代化。西方封建政治文化以其丰富的内涵和独有的特征,对其早期的现代化产生了复杂的影响。一方面,它制约着民族国家意识的发育,阻碍着宪政思想的发展;另一方面,它又为政治现代化提供了文化条件和理论支持。西方封建政治文化在其对政治现代化的影响过程中创生了丰富多彩的现代政治思想。The modernization of political culture is the first step in the political modernization. The Western feudal traditional political culture, with its rich connotations and its own characteristics, exerts a complex influence on the early political modernization during its transition from the Medieval to the modern. On the one hand, it limits the growth of the consciousness of the nation - state, and impedes the development of the constitutionalism ; on the other hand, it provides the latter with a cultural condition and a theoretical support. According to the author, during this course, the feudal political culture gives a birth to various modern political thoughts
