摘  要:分析了光谱编码模数转换的一般原理,讨论了实现电压转换为波长并采样,再对波长进行编码的各种途径和性能比较。由于信号的采样和编码在不同部分完成,采样速率和转换位数可以分别增强,以获得尽可能高的转换速率和多的转换位数。作为例子,分析和设计了一个5b it数个GS/s的由通道波导法布里-珀罗干涉器构成的光谱编码模数转换器,并指出,通过采用电压反偏多量子阱P IN结构调谐半导体激光器,以及采用啁啾光栅反向耦合双通道法布里-珀罗滤波器,可以分别获得数伏数GH z电压下数百GH z带宽的电压-波长转换及光采样,和10 b it以上的转换位数。The analysis of general principle of an optical-spectrum-encoded ADC (OS- EADC) is presented, followed by the discussions on several approaches to realizing voltagewavelength transformation and sampling, wavelength encoding, and their performance compar- ison. Since the sampling and encoding are accomplished in different parts, the enhancements of sampling rate and bit-resolution can be researched separately to obtain high conversion rate and bit-resolution. As an example, the analysis and design of a 5-bit multi-GS/s OSEADC constructed with channel waveguide Fabry-Perot interferometers (FPI) are presented. It is pointed out that the utilizations of laser diode tuned by reverse-biased multiple quantum well PIN structure and of FPI formed by twin waveguides, which are contradirectionally coupled by chirped grating, lead to a tuning range of hundreds of GHz under a voltage of several volt and several GHz, and conversion bits of more than 10, respectively.
