摘　　要：法制教育是大学生思想政治教育的重要组成部分。加强和改进大学生的法制教育,对培养大学生的法律信仰,提高大学生的思想道德素质,造就适应中国特色社会主义现代化法制国家建设要求的优秀人才有着重要意义。“思想道德修养与法律基础”课进一步明确了高校法制教育的目标,实现了法律素质和道德素质培养的有机结合,为新形势下大学生法律信仰的培养创造了机遇和条件。The legal education is an important part in ideological and political education of university students. It＇s very significant to strengthen and improve university students＇ legal education, to cultivate university student＇s legal belief and advance university students＇ ideolegy and morality, and to accomplish outstanding talented persons who adapt to the modernization of socialism country with Chinese characteristics under the rule of law. ＂Thought morals tutelage and legal foundation＂ have further nailed down the purpose of the education of legal system in college and realized the organic synthesis of cultivation of legal quality and moral quality, which has created the opportunity and condition for the cultivation of legal belief of college students under the new form.
