摘　　要：近年来,面对我国迅速增长的外汇储备,对其“适度规模”的评价众说不一,难有共识。在目前情况下,应当将研究重点从“适度规模”转移到经营策略上来。应坚持其金融资金的性质,确保安全性、流动性和收益性,借鉴新加坡的经验,在中央银行留足确保外汇储备流动性的基础上,将其余外汇资金交由专门的金融机构经营是可取的重要选择。Recently, along with our booming foreign exchange reserve, there are many versions about its ＂Appropriate Scale＂. After some comments on several representative versions, it suggests there isn＇t any ＂internationally acceptable standard＂, neither for China, any unanimous standard. Meanwhile, focus should shift from studying ＂appropriate scale＂ to its management in order to safeguard its security, liquidity, and profitability. Take Singapore for reference, it proves good to render foreign exchange surplus management to designated organs after maintaining enough liquidity by our central bank.
