Performance Analysis of Short-Wave Wideband Channel Model

摘  要:Based on the time-variant and dispersive properties of short-wave channel and the strong antijamming property of Frequency hopping (FH) system, a new short-wave wideband channel model is presented in the paper, which consist of propagation model and noise and interference model. Compared to Watterson model, the channel model could describe the characteristic of short-wave channel, such as delay spread, Doppler shift and Doppler spread, whose bandwidth was wide. The performance of short-wave wideband channel model was analyzed. The simulation and analysis result showed that the channel model Could reveal the time diffusion and frequency diffusion of short-wave channel, and noise and interference of short-wave FH/DQPSK system. The channel model could be used to test conventional narrowband and frequency-hopping short-wave systems as well as wideband, direct sequence, spread spectrum short-wave systems.
