摘　　要：对博士伦公司在美国两次世界大战期间的作用、美国海军军方和科尔摩根光学公司围绕潜望镜的发展所采取的措施、特别是对美国海军建造和修理局的潜望镜标准化初衷做了扼要论述。对二战期间的2型潜望镜和4型潜望镜一些情况作了回顾。The effect of Bausch & Lomb Company in America between the Wars, the measures taken by the American Navy and Kollmorgen Optical Company in the development of the submarine periscopes and particularly the original intention of standardization of submarine periscope type and design put forward by the Bureau of Construction and Repair are briefly described. Some things about Type 2 periscope and Type 4 periscope during the World War II are looked back. The periscopes after World War II, the periscope manufacturers and the effect of the Navy's Underwater Sound Laboratory in the periscope-making in the post war and so on are further described.
