摘　　要：曼斯菲尔德是英国著名的短篇小说家,一贯以创新的叙述方式为评论界所称道。她的短篇小说《泡菜》中人物的对话与细节描写,蕴含着丰富的文体色彩,展现了作家细腻的笔触及其艺术手法上的高深造诣。Mansfield, a renowned British short story writer, is well acknowledged in world literature, especially for her innovative narration style. This article elaborates how the writer depicts the protagonists of the novel and tones up the atmosphere through her deliberate arrangement of dialogues between the hero and the heroine in combination with her description of details. It attempts to analyze the stylistic meaning of the story with abundant implications, and reveal the writer＇s exquisite writing and her superb artistic style.
