摘　　要：临淄出土的东周时期的齐国瓦当风格鲜明、极具特色。其纹饰的题材内容丰富,大多取材于现实生活,同时也有图腾崇拜产生的非现实题材等。在图案结构上,运用了绝对对称和非绝对对称或单独纹样的构图方式,创造出千姿百态的或具象写实、或抽象变形,富有装饰性的物体形象,多层次、多角度地反映出当时人们的时代气息、地域文化风貌以及他们的思想意识和审美情趣。Eaves tile is a great invention,combining practicality and esthetics. Among numerous eaves tile unearthed in China,the eaves tiles of Eastern Zhou Dynasty unearthed in Linzi have obvious style with outstanding characteristics. Its decorative design themes are rich,originated from real life as well as non-realistic themes created with totemic consciousness. In the composition,uilizing absolutely symmetrical and asymmetrical pattern or single pattern,artists created various,artistic,concrete,abstract and decorative objects,reflecting the times,local culture feature and their ideologic consciousness and esthetics flavors.
