摘　　要：论述科技论文英文题名在科技信息传播中的重要作用;提出了英文题名编辑加工的程序及其目标。讨论英文题名编辑加工中的若干具体问题,如主副题名、系列题名,以及题名中的字母大小写、缩略语及介词等问题。The important role of English tides of papers which has been played in the dissemination of sci-tech information is expounded, and the editing procedure and the objectives are proposed. Some concrete problems encountered in the editing process are discussed, such as subtitles, series titles, the use of abbreviations, rules of capitalization and lowercase of all words in the tides, and the usage of preposition phrases.
