摘　　要：干旱地区秋季造林的成败,土壤墒情好坏是决定因素,当秋季干旱无雨,在土壤含水量很低的情况下,不论采取哪种造林方法和营造何种树种,都不会获得较高的成活率。只有在土壤墒情达到一定程度的情况下,秋季造林才会获得理想的成活率。Stand or fall of soil moisture is decisive factor of success ＆ fail of afforestation in autumn in arid area. Under the condition of little-rain in autumn and much lower soil moisture, higher survival ratio cant be obtained whatever forestation methods should be taken and whichever species should be silvicultured. Afforestation obtains optimal survival ratio while soil moisture meets a certain degree.
