摘　　要：本文简要介绍了利用古代天象观测记载研究地球自转长期变化所揭示的两个重要现象，即存在着使自转速率加速的非潮汐因素；地球自转在约千余年之前出现过较大的起伏。Two interesting phenomena derived from studies of records of ancient astronomical observations, which are the non-tidal factors accelerating rotation of the Earth and a major fluctation possibly existed in the rotation about 1000 years ago, are simpiy introduced in this paper.
