摘　　要：JUCHAO District of Chaohu City is situated on the banks of Chaohu Lake in Anhui Province.It is one of China's five major freshwater lakes.Owing to its pleasant climate,plentiful sunshine and ample rainfall,the region has long enjoyed a reputation as a"land of abundance."It boasts national bases of grain,cotton and cooking oil,and teems with aquatic products such as whitebait,shrimp and hairy crabs.
