摘　　要：油藏精细描述在油气勘探开发中具有重要作用,油藏地质建模是油藏精细描述的核心。本文介绍了PETREL三维可视化油藏地质建模软件的发展历程、功能模块及工作流程,并给出具体研究实例。实例研究结果表明,借助PETREL强大的三维可视化功能和勘探开发一体化的功能模块,可以快速准确的分析油藏地质特征、建立油藏属性格架、明确剩余油分布情况,为勘探开发决策提供有力支持。Detailed description of a reservoir plays an important role in oil or gas exploration and development.Geological modeling is the key technology.The paper introduces the history,functional module and work flow of PETREL 3D visualization geological modeling software and gives a concrete case study.The result shows that depending on PETREL for its 3D visualization function and integrative functional module of exploration and development,the geological characeristics and structure of a reservoir can be modeled and analysed fast and accurately.Distribution of the residual oil can thereby be determined.PETREL can provide powerful support for making decision in exploration and development.
