摘　　要：偃师商城小城建筑年代为南关外期偏晚,这一年代非早商而属先商晚期即夏末。该城是商汤灭夏之时兴建的军事营垒,非早商都城。According to relative archaeological materials, the date of the small town of Shang dynasty city at Yanshi should be equivalent to the late stage of Nanguanwai, which is exactly the late stage of Pre - Shang; the function of the town is not a capital of the early Shang dynasty, but a military fort established in the process of King Tang attacking and seizing the capital of Xia dynasty.
