摘　　要：由于家世的影响,世事的变迁,坎坷的人生经历,白先勇小说的总体特征和情感氛围都呈现出深深的悲剧意识。白先勇小说的悲剧意识首先来自背景气氛的营造上,其次表现在艺术手法的独特选择上,最后还体现在历史对于个体命运的干涉上。Both the overall features and sentimental atmosphere of Bai Xianyong＇ s novels reveal a deeply tragic consciousness because of the influence of extraction, the transformation of society and rough experience of life. The tragic consciousness of Bai Xianyong＇ s novels firstly comes from the construction of background atmosphere, secondly, from the original selection of artistic methods, and last, from the interference of history to individual fate.
