摘　　要：城市化是当今世界最重要的经济现象和社会现象之一,其水平的高低已成为衡量一个国家或地区经济发展水平的重要标志。人口城市化是现代城市成长的前提和基础。因此,研究人口城市化与经济发展关系对一国或一地区的发展意义重大。通过多年统计数据的相关分析得出吉林省人口城市化超前于经济发展的结论,在此基础上,分析了这种现象产生的原因并提出协调人口城市化与经济发展的对策。Urbanization, which is an important symbol of the economy development to one country or region, is one of the most significant economic and social phenomena of the contempory era. While population urbanization is the precondition and foundation of modem city development. So it has an important meaning to study the relation between population urbanization and economy development for one country or region. This paper analyses the relation between population urbanization and economy development of Jilin province, and comes to the conclusion that the population urbanization is prior to the economy development by the coupling analyze of statistic data for many years, and then analyses the reason and put forwards the countermeasure to harmonize the population urbanization and economy development.
